D444 is a 57 m² one-bedroom apartment on the fourth floor of Building 4 at The Hills Residence, a residence in Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten. It sleeps up to two guests and looks out over Simpson Bay lagoon.
Furnished and fully equipped, it works as well for a long weekend as for a stay of several weeks. The idea is simple: arrive, unpack, and enjoy the island without having to think about practical details.
The bedroom, set apart from the living room, is furnished with a king-size bed, a closet with hangers and curtains to darken the room.
The living area combines a lounge corner with a sofa and flat-screen TV, and a dining table for meals. The apartment has one bathroom with a shower.
A balcony with outdoor furniture is accessible from the living room. It faces the lagoon and is the natural place for a morning coffee.
Cooking at home is easy: the kitchen has a hob, an extractor hood, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Small appliances include an espresso machine, a kettle, a toaster and a blender, and you will find crockery, cutlery, utensils and glasses for wine and champagne.
For everyday comfort there is air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer-dryer, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Bed linen, bath towels, beach towels and bathroom essentials are supplied.
A baby cot and a high chair are available for families with young children. The door opens with an electronic lock, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed.
On the roof of the residence, a swimming pool looks out over the lagoon and the hills. The residence has elevators, private parking and outdoor surveillance cameras. The pool is open every day from 8 am to 8 pm, with sun loungers around it.
A concierge service is available to arrange car rental, book restaurants or plan excursions and activities on the island. You can contact the team before or during your stay.
Simpson Bay is one of the most convenient places to stay on Sint Maarten: restaurants, bars, supermarkets and marinas are close by, and Simpson Bay beach, Maho beach and Princess Juliana International Airport are a few minutes away by car.
The residence is built on a hill, which is what gives it its views, so we recommend renting a car for your stay. With a car you can also explore the rest of the island, from Philipsburg to Marigot and the beaches of the French side.
Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is until 11 am. D444 is well suited to couples, with a maximum of two guests. The team of The Hills Residence is available on site if you need anything during your stay.
For longer stays, an intermediate housekeeping service can be booked during your stay, and extra towels are available on request. With the full kitchen and the washer-dryer, you can easily live here as you would at home.
